Class Descriptions

 NO experience working with glass. ALL supplies are provided – participants will use scrap glass; if larger pieces of glass are desired, that will cost extra. Participants will receive a 10% discount on any supplies purchased during the class. Up to 4 participants per class. Classes will be about 2 hours long for 3 weeks – some foiling may need to be done at home if necessary. Project will be 10 pieces or less – 4 or 5 choices: patchwork heart, abstract circle, butterfly, square horizon, or a seasonal suncatcher. This class is for anyone who has completed the basics class, but would still like additional help and instruction with techniques. Supplies are provided – EXCEPT glass - participants receive a 10% discount on glass or supplies are purchased during the class. Up to 4 participants per class. Class will be about 2 1/2 hours long for 3 weeks – foiling will be done at home after second session. Project will be 10-20 pieces – choose from selected books or any of the pieces on the wall. This class will usually run in conjunction with the Beginner classes. Additional Tuesday evening classes may be added if there is interest.

Classes in the later part of the year may be changed or cancelled at the instructor's discretion.

Class fees are non-refundable. However, in the event of mandatory closure by the state of Michigan, classes may be rescheduled or a gift certificate may be issued for the value of the class.

Workshops will generally be the first Saturday of the month. If you are interested in the workshop of the month, but cannot attend Saturday, please call or email Jean to see what other days and times are available (Sundays and Mondays are NOT available).

Workshops will begin at 12:30 pm and last 2 to 4 hours.

Cost is $80 for each workshop. In some cases, there may be additional supplies necessary at an added cost. Participants receive a 10% discount on all glass and supplies purchased the day of the workshop.
